The challenge
Twenty thousand employees across ten countries could not reliably answer "who is this person and who do they report to?". Contact data lived in per-country HR systems with different formats and update cycles.
What we did
We built an intranet directory application with instant search across name, role, department and cost center, org-chart rendering, and office floor maps.
Scheduled imports normalize and merge feeds from the country HR systems; corrections proposed by employees route through manager approval back to the source of truth.
The outcome
- One authoritative directory across all group entities
- Org charts always reflect the latest HR data - no manual maintenance
- Employee-proposed corrections flow through approvals to source systems
